Real Weddings, the wonderful Ali and AJ featured in Pittsburgh Magazine

It's finally here! Ali and I have been talking about this for months. It is an honor to be a part of Pittsburgh Magazine's Wedding issue that came out on Valentine's Day. You can see the wedding of the fabulous Ali and AJ Dorogi featured in the "Real Weddings" section. They were wed this past summer on June 30th at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in the Strip District. The beautiful flowers were from Kerry Kennedy of KS Kennedy Distinctive Floral on the North Side and the cake was made by Carol’s Cakes in Aliquippa. You can pick one of these magazines up at your local Giant Eagle, Barnes and Nobel or CVS to check this issue out yourself!

Little Hipster Baby

 So, I might be a little biased because this is my Nephew/Godson... but this is the cutest kid I have ever seen. Brooks Richard is officially 1 year old. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by and how big he has gotten. Last week I met up with my sister-in-law to photograph B. Naturally when he sees a camera he is ready to pose because since he's been born I am guilty of taking approximately a trillion photos of him. I hope everyone enjoys the ridiculously insane cuteness below.    

A Fresh Snowfall, The Priory and PPG Christmas Tree

I would like to introduce to you, the new Mr. and Mrs. Zawoyski. It was such a pleasure spending the day with Kristen, Nate, their friends and family. With a fresh snowfall from the night before on the ground and the roads perfectly cleared, the day began at The Priory Hotel where Kristen and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The wood work and furniture are a photographers dream! We then made our way to the St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland, which was absolutely beautiful, to catch up with the guys before the ceremony. Before the reception at The Priory, we stopped at PPG Place to take a photo of the newlyweds at the Christmas Tree. With ice skaters and Saturday evening patrons all around, the couple kept each other warm long enough to grab a few shots. Thank you Nate and Kristen!

A spontaneous holiday shoot with the Legges

I have known Chelsea since I was in elementary school. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding when she married her High School sweetheart, Anthony. They have been happily married now for 3 years. Chelsea and I were out to lunch this past weekend and she mentioned her idea for their Christmas card. It was snowing outside, she looked adorable, and there were a few hours of daylight left so we called her husband and headed to downtown Irwin for an impromptu shoot. I just had to share a few of the photos! Happy Holidays.
