In honor of the game this evening and Wiz Khalifa's performance before kick off, here are photos (some never before seen) from the shooting of the "Black and Yellow" video.

Waken Baken... Pittsburgh Shaken

Friday night I attended the second sold out Waken Baken Tour show Wiz Khalifa packed at the new AE Stage in the North Shore.  Fans were shoulder to shoulder as Wiz came out on stage after Rostrum Records recent Taylor Allderdice graduate Mac Miller opened.  Wiz went from hoodie, to t-shirt, then t-shirt to shirtless as fans went wild.  His set list included all the songs his fan base they call the "Taylor Gang" enjoyed.  Wiz and his hype man Chevy Woods opened with "Pittsburgh Sound" and ended the show with the Billboard top 100's number 11 hit "Black and Yellow" and "This Plane." After being backstage a minute the "Wiz" chants began to explode from the crowd.  He then rushed the stage with  all of his friends to round out the evening with a surprise  unreleased song  "Taylor Gang." 

Yeah uh huh... Im pretty sure you know what it is.

I was fortunate enough a few months ago to photograph on Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" music video set. The days were hot and long but everything turned out really well.

This week the Wiz Khalifa sunglasses "The Elevators" went on sale.  These are the glasses that he wore in the "Black and Yellow" video.  Heres some photos from the music video and a shot of the ad for these glasses which my photo is used in.
