Yeah uh huh... Im pretty sure you know what it is.

I was fortunate enough a few months ago to photograph on Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" music video set. The days were hot and long but everything turned out really well.

This week the Wiz Khalifa sunglasses "The Elevators" went on sale.  These are the glasses that he wore in the "Black and Yellow" video.  Heres some photos from the music video and a shot of the ad for these glasses which my photo is used in.

65 and Sunny...

So yesterday was 65 degrees and sunny!  These few days of sporadic Indian Summer have been great.  What a perfect time to go outside and shoot.  I met up with Cory in Oakland to do headshots.  He is a Point Park University cinema student who also does acting work.  I used to live in the part of Oakland we shot in, so I knew the area like the back of my hand.  Cory was hysterical.  (As you will be able to tell by some of the photos.)  He was great at posing and keeping it real.  Great shoot Cor!

First time in Consol Energy Center

Thursday night was my first time in Consol Energy Center.  Boy is that place beautiful.  I shot the Robert Morris University v. California University of Pennsylvania mens D3 club hockey game.  Before the game, Pittsburgh Penguins Derek Engelland and Tyler Kennedy were signing autographs. There was a huge line, but they kept signing even past the allotted time.
There were lots of fans in attendance for both RMU and CALU.  This was also a big game for CALU as they are trying to prove to their school that they should have a rink built for them. It was an exciting game, RMU had a 4-2 but was then defeated by CALU 7-5. I was excited to have an all access media pass and be able to catch some of the action of the night.

Allison Renee

This morning I shot photographs of newborn, Allison.  She's just a few weeks old!  Beautiful little girl with quite the head of hair!  Mom, Christina brought some props along, adorable headbands and a hat.
While she was a little fussy at first, she got used to me clicking away pretty quickly.  Here are some shots of Allison and those big blue eyes.  Thanks again Christina!

A venture to the other side.

So today my Mother took headshots of me for my new website.  I didn't realize just how uncomfortable it can be on the other side of the camera until now.  As I was trying to smile, be serious, look away, look back, smile again, smile again, smile once more because "that looks fake"...  It took me awhile, but then I remembered the things I say to my clients while I'm working with them.
Im so used to being on the other side of the camera, today made me really take notice that it is important to be comfortable and confident while getting your photo taken.  It takes a few shots to loosen up, it takes good direction, and most importantly it takes a good laugh during the shoot to keep you confident!  Chalk that up to another learning experience.  I hope with this, Ill be able to help my clients relax and have fun with each and every shoot.  My Mother did a wonderful job and I thank her for these!  Her are a few of the shots.
